We are a research lab in the Department of Horticultural Sciences at University of Florida-IFAS in Gainesville. We work on plant and microbe metabolic biochemistry and engineering using synthetic biology and other tools. We focus on (1) primary metabolism (particularly relating to thiamin and other B vitamins), and (2) damage to metabolites and proteins and its repair or pre-emption.
